Product Description
Introduction to Quenching Machine Tools
Quenching machines typically consist of a machine bed, upper and lower clamping mechanisms, a clamping-rotating system, a quenching fluid cooling and circulation system, and an electrical control system, among other components.
Quenching machines are typically single-station, but workpieces with small diameters can use dual-station quenching machines.
Quenching machines are broadly categorized into two main types based on their structure: vertical and horizontal. Users can select the appropriate quenching machine according to their specific quenching process. For special workpieces or unique processes, specialized quenching machines can be custom-designed and manufactured to meet the exact heating requirements.
The quenching machine tool, when paired with a high-frequency power supply (as well as medium-frequency or ultra-audio power supplies), enables an induction quenching process controlled by a PLC program. This setup is commonly used for the quenching and heat treatment of gears, shaft components, and various types of mechanical parts.
Common Types of Quenching Equipment
1. External Cylindrical Quenching Series: Provides full or partial quenching treatments on the outer cylindrical surfaces of various shafts, bars, tubes, and circular components.
2. Internal Surface Hardening Series: Offers full or localized hardening of the inner surfaces of various tubular materials and mechanical components, such as cylinder liners, bearings, and more.
3. End-face and Flat-Surface Quenching Series: Provides full or localized quenching treatments for the end faces and flat surfaces of mechanical components.
4. Special-Shaped Part Quenching Series: Perform overall or localized quenching on a specific surface of the special-shaped part.
5. Extra-Large Part Quenching Series: This involves performing either full or partial quenching on exceptionally large and heavy components, such as marine gears, water gate rails for dams, and massive oil pipelines, among others.
6. Mold Surface Hardening Series: The mold surface induction hardening machine tool is a CNC-based process equipment designed for heat treatment of large automotive body molds and sizable, non-circular spatial curved components.
